Gabriel Jesus is the City player with the most participations in goals this season

Going through a good phase, Gabriel Jesus was once again important in a match for the Manchester City. This Wednesday, in the 2-1 victory against Aston Villa, by the English Championship, the Brazilian assisted Bernardo Silva, who scored the second goal for the Citizens.

With that, the ex-palmeirense improved his numbers even more. So far, Jesus is the City athlete with the most participations in goals this season. In 17 games (11 as a starter), there were five goals and eight assists – a direct participation every 80 minutes, according to the Footstats.

The attacker has also been decisive in the Champions League. In the penultimate round, the player scored the goal that defined the win against PSG, thus guaranteeing the first position in group A.

The triumph against Aston Villa keeps Guardiola’s team in the fight for the Premier League leadership. Manchester’s team is second, with 32 points, one less than Chelsea.

City’s next match will be against Watford, this Saturday, away from home, at 2:30 pm (GMT).
