Mbappe signs autographs and poses with fans after being pulled from PSG tour

Withdrawal from pre-season travel Paris Saint Germain for Asia did not take away the smile of Kylian Mbappé, who this Saturday signed autographs and posed for photos with the fans after training in Poissy (outskirts of Paris), confirmed an AFP journalist.

Less than 24 hours after the announcement that he would not be flying to Japan, Mbappé went to Poissy to train with the players who will not be taking part in the Asia tour.

The black vehicle the player was in stopped for him to greet a group of fans, most of them very young. The striker got out of the car and, relaxed and wearing a cap with the club’s colors, distributed autographs and took pictures with the fans.

The 2018 world champion star did not respond when asked about his future.

“Stay with us, Kylian!”, shouted a child in the images captured by AFPTV.

After two minutes with the fans, in what was his first public appearance since being excluded from the tour, Kylian Mbappé got back in his vehicle and drove away from the venue. Neither the player nor his surroundings have yet reacted to Paris Saint-Germain’s decision not to take their star to Japan and South Korea.

The club’s new coach, Luis Enrique Martínez, will give a press conference on Sunday in Osaka.

At the center of the conflict between the two parties is Kylian Mbappé’s contract with PSG, which ends in June 2024. The club wants him to renew it soon because it fears that the star wants to reach the end of the current one to be released on June 30, 2024 and be able to play in another club without PSG receiving compensation for the transfer.
