Midfielder Arthur is in a new home for the 2023/24 season. The Brazilian was announced as Fiorentina’s new reinforcement this Saturday. Despite still having ties to the Juventushe will be loaned to Viola for one year with an option to buy at the end of the contract.
This will be the 26-year-old’s second loan spell since arriving in Italy. Arthur was part of the Liverpool squad last season, but suffered from injuries and struggled to get game time under Jurgen Klopp.

Despite being one of Juventus’s main signings in recent years, the midfielder is not part of the club’s plans for next season. At Fiorentina, Arthur will join three Brazilians in the squad: winger Dodô, defender Igor and striker Arthur Cabral.
The athlete revealed by Grêmio stood out for the Gauchos in winning the Libertadores in 2017. Quoted as one of the great jewels of Brazilian football, Arthur was sold to Barcelona in 2018 for 31 million euros.
Despite the great expectations, the player failed to maintain regularity in Spain and was transferred to Juventus in 2020. Arthur has also had chances in the Brazilian national team, playing 22 games with the hopscotch and winning a Copa America.
