Osasuna has been proclaimed champion of the VII Euskal Herria Txapelathis Friday night, after defeating in the final by 1-3 to the Real society in it Stadium Gal de Irunwith three goals from Alejandro Catena. The new central defender of the Navarrese team was the author of the three goals for his team, in the first part of the match, which had a high pace on the part of the two teams and in which both Jagoba Arrasate and Imanol took the opportunity to give youngsters opportunities.

The first half It has been played at a high pace, both teams have sought to play with speed and it has been interesting, even more so taking into account where the players are at in the pre-season, almost starting to train. The truth is that Osasuna was right in front of Remiro’s goal, and went to rest with a clear 1-3 in their favour, the same result with which the clash ended. Jagoba Arrasate’s team began dominating the game, and Lucas Torró was on the verge of putting the rojillos ahead after three minutes, in a corner; soon, catena, taking advantage of an excellent cross from Moncayola, scored the first goal, getting ahead of Real’s defense inside the area. It was the debut of the new central defender of the Navarrese club, but not the last goal that he was going to achieve in a night that he will not easily forget.

Momo Cho, in minute 23, has tied the game, taking advantage of a great wall with Gorrotxategi; the French winger beat Aitor Fernández with his left foot, with a great shot. But Osasuna struck again, in minute 37, again through Catena; Moncayola crossed from the right, and the Madrid defender, with a beautiful header, made it 1-2.

Before intermission, again catenaculminating with a header a good move by Osasuna’s right after another corner, he has scored the third goal for the rojillos, the third of his personal account.

The second part, as usual in preseason games, has had less pace than the first. The game has been even, and there have not been too many clear chances to move the score. The best, the presence of the youngsters, who already before the break have also left samples of their quality and projection; Javi Martínez, Adama, Iker Muñoz, Areso, Huarte, Gorrotxategi, Cantero, Martín or Astigarraga, among others, have shown that their coaches and teammates can trust them.

The negative note, on the other hand, has been the injury to Aritz Elustondo, who has had to leave the field of play and is waiting to find out what exactly has happened to him, in the hope that it is nothing of importance.

Osasuna has reached the 90th minute without major surprises, and has thus been awarded the VII Euskal Herria Txapela, which has been received by its captain, David García.
