With two casualties, the Ecuadorian team prepares a trip for a friendly against El Salvador

Faced with the absences, coach Gustavo Alfaro cited three players to complete the tricolor roster that will play on Saturday in Houston, United States.

The Ecuadorian soccer team confirmed on the afternoon of this Wednesday casualties of Byron Castillo and Djorkaeff Reasco for Saturday’s friendly game against El Salvador, in Houston, United States.

Through a statement, the Ecuadorian Football Federation reported that Castillo is dismissed “for medical treatment”, while Reasco for “positive COVID-19”.

Ortiz was already on the payroll for the last friendly in the United States, in the 3-2 win against Mexico, a game for which Corozo was also cited, who was also in the game against Venezuela (1-0), by qualifying.

For its part, Cifuentes returns to La Tri after the last call to face the South American World Cup games, with minutes added against Paraguay and Chile, in September. (D)
