Selection of Guayas, in the children’s category; and Carchi, in the pre-infantile, were imposed during the National Cycling Championship held on the track of the José Luis Contreras velodrome, of the Guayas Sports Federation, located in the Miraflores complex.

The individual time trial left Vin Samir Alive, from Pichincha as the first; Jhostin Toro e Israel Revelo, both from Carchi, finished second and third, respectively; in ladies the winner was Allison Guamán, Alison Salan finished second and Leslie Roger, from Guayas, finished third.

The women’s team time trial featured the representation of Guayas, who won gold for the performance of Valeska Cando, Mía Quiroz, Leslie Roger, Ashely Barrera, Darcy García and Gardenia Vargas; for his part Pichincha, with Maité Moposita, Francis Molina, Gabriela Caiza, Yesenia Andrango, Estefani Lucero and Carla Santos, she got the silver medal; Carchi, Represented by Ariana Bolaños, Hillary Paredes, Scarlet Prado and Carolina Herrera, she finished in third place.

Pre-infant category

In the pre-infant series, the ladies individual route left Gisela alvarado, from Pichincha, as the winner in the 12 km; while Mallerly Flores, from Carchi, the silver was hung; and his partner Odalis Castro got bronze. In males, Dylan Calpa, from Carchi, finished first in the 24 km; he was escorted by his teammate Érick Taquez, as second and Jose Culqui, from Cotopaxi, was third.

The 100 meters thrown left Mario Figueroa, de Guayas, as champion; Alan Ponce, of SDT, was second; and Julian Estacio, from Pichincha, third. In ladies, Gisela alvarado, from Pichincha, won the gold medal; Ruth Noemí Echeverría, from Guayas, reached the silver medal, and Mallerly Flores, from Carchi, finished third.

The men’s 200 meters had as the best a Érick Taquez, of Carchi; the silver medal went to Mario Figueroa, from Guayas; while Sebastian Lopez, from Carchi, the bronze was hung. For his part, in the ladies he left Danna garcia, from Carchi, as the first; Ruth Noemí Echeverría, from Guayas, it was second; Renata Oña Paredes, from Pichincha, third. (D)
