Arraun Lagunak has achieved victory in the V Bandera de Bilbaofifth scoring regatta for the Euskotren Leaguedisputed in the time trial mode in the waters of the Nervión estuary, and thus underpins his leadership in the general classification.

The ‘Lugañene’, who already won this same test last year, won with almost three seconds ahead of Donostiarra and, with her victory on the first weekend of competition in A Coruña, she became the first crew to repeat victory in a very even start to the season.

Third was Orioahead of those of Hondarribia, Tolosaldea and Hibaika, all three in a fork of 70 hundredths. The Galician crews from Cabo da Cruz and Tirán closed the regatta.

The general classification of the Euskotren League is led by Arraun Lagunak (29 points), San Sebastian is second with 26 points and Orio third with 25 points. At the bottom of the table, Cabo is penultimate with 9 points and Tiran last with 4 points.
