The Negriazules will face Boca Juniors in the fourth final in their history in the Conmebol Youth Championship. In addition, they embark on a quest to regain the throne.

The commitment will take place on Sunday, July 16, starting at 3:30pm local time (4:30am Ecuadorian time) in La Portada.

A good Ecuadorian team beat the Paraguayan Ciclón del Barrio Obrero with a goal from forward Mael Rentería.

It was a very tight and closed minutes of the game between both teams. Rentería converted late in the game with a penalty that gave the Rayados their fourth win in this edition of the tournament and their second against Cerro Porteño.

The Ecuadorians, who reached their fourth Under-20 Libertadores final and were champions in the 2020 edition, will go for a rematch of the final they lost last year against Peñarol of Uruguay, who were beaten 1-0 by Boca Juniors in the other semi-final. .
