“There was a moment in the match when I completely lost the game, and he played well. I started to sink, I started to make a lot of mistakes. And from the tie-break, I already played amazingly. The meeting lasted 2 hours and 57 minutes. In the semi-final, the Russian will play the winner of the match between the Spaniard Carlos Alcaras and the Dane Holger Rune.
Reaching the semifinals was Medvedev’s best result at Wimbledon. Previously, he only advanced to the fourth round in 2021.
