Shape Experts Advise Taking a Cool Shower to Relieve Muscle Fatigue
Experts from Shape magazine gave advice on getting rid of muscle fatigue. The list of recommendations is published on the publication’s website.
According to experts, the best way to eliminate muscle weakness is to rest. They noted that the average pause between classes should be 3-5 days, but its duration may vary depending on the degree of overtraining.
In addition, experts advised drinking more water, as well as taking a cool shower immediately after a workout. Another way to recover is to book a massage. To prevent the appearance of muscle fatigue, experts recommended exercising regularly, without taking long breaks between classes.
“Constant physical activity strengthens your muscles. Aim to get 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise and two full-body strength workouts per week,” they added.
Earlier, the eight-time champion of Russia in weightlifting, powerlifter Mikhail Koklyaev, said that constant exhausting sports often lead to overtraining syndrome. He recommended not to work for a quick result, and also not to neglect the warm-up, as it speeds up the heartbeat, saturates the muscles with oxygen and improves joint mobility.
