Midfielder Madison Julio completed a remarkable performance with El Nacional, during the first phase of the Pro League, which attracted the interest of other clubs.
One of the teams that turned their attention to the Creole footballer was Emelec, a team that recognized that there had been talks, but stayed with it.
“Emelec’s interest was real, as I spoke with the president of the club (Lucía Vallecilla). I told him that they are calling me, but no decision has been made and I told them that I have no intention of leaving the club,” said Julio.

“It’s because the team achieved nice things from Serie B, also because of how we finished the first stage (Pro League, second), something fair and personally I stood out a lot,” he added in an interview with Football channel.
Likewise, the midfielder admitted that he is a Liga de Quito fan, since he left the training division of Albos.
“I’m a fan of the League and I’m telling you it would be time to see between now and the end of the year what’s presented. And as I said, for now my head is in El Nacional,” he concluded. (D)
