PSG against Kang-In Lee, attacking on the Korean of Mallorca

O Paris Saint Germain and RCD Mallorca have reached an agreement for the transfer to French Ligue 1 champions of South Korea’s Kang-In Lee, 22, the two clubs announced on Saturday.

The young Asian arrived in Spanish football in 2011 to play in the Valencia academy, the club for which he made his debut in October 2018 when he was not yet 18 years old.

With 14 caps for the South Korean national team and a member of the “Taeguk Warriors” in Qatar World Cupeliminated in the round of 16 by Brazil (4-1), Kan-In Lee signed with Mallorca in 2021, having played 73 games with the Majorcan shirt, scoring 7 goals.

This is PSG’s fourth signing for next season, after Spaniard Marco Asensio (Real Madrid), Slovakian defender Milan Skriniar (Inter Milan) and Uruguayan midfielder Manuel Ugarte (Sporting Portugal).

Last Wednesday, PSG introduced its new coach, former coach of the Spanish national team Luis Enrique, who is still awaiting the arrival of new signings and, above all, the resolution of the situation of his star Kylian Mbappé.

The Frenchman does not want to renew the contract that ends within a year, a decision that the club does not accept. PSG have announced that they will sell the striker this summer if his contract with the club is not renewed.
