Midfielder Denis Glushakov became a player of Strogino Beach Football Club
Russian midfielder Denis Glushakov switched to beach soccer. This was reported on the website of the Russian beach soccer championship.
36-year-old Glushakov became a player in the Strogino beach football club. He will perform under the 88th number.
At the end of the 2022/2023 season of the Russian Premier League (RPL), Glushakov left Paris Nizhny Novgorod as a free agent, for which he had played since February 2023. Previously, he represented the capital’s Lokomotiv and Spartak, as part of the latter he became the champion and owner of the Russian Super Cup, as well as Khimki near Moscow, SKA Rostov, Zvezda Irkutsk and Akhmat Grozny.
As part of the Russian national team, Glushakov played 57 matches. He scored five goals and one assist. Together with the national team, the midfielder played at the European Championships in 2012 and 2016, as well as at the 2014 World Cup.
