Saritama revealed for his club that they only received payment for January this season, and the rest has yet to be done.

“To date, it has only been possible to collect the television rights corresponding to Deportivo Cuenca in January. It is five months behind and I don’t know what the situation is with the other teams,” said the former midfielder.

“Television rights represent 60% of Deportivo Cuenca’s budget. We expected the payment from month to month, luckily we managed to have the support of the investment group for the second half of the year,” he added in a radio interview. Mesh Quito.

The current leader insisted that this situation leads to a “complicated place” for national football clubs.

“The teams are limited in the economic part, we try to be consistent in the financial part. Ecuadorian football depends on external and internal factors,” he said.

“The question of television takes us to a complicated place. A large percentage of the budget is armed with TV rights and they represent almost 50% or 60%. This complicates the introduction of changes,” Saritama concluded. (D).
