Eto’o elects Mbappe as successor to CR7 and Messi: “It will be the best for 15 years”

Former striker Samuel Eto’o pointed out, in an interview with the newspaper AS, that Kylian Mbappe will succeed Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi in the Ballon d’Or award and will long stand out in world football.

“Mbappe is already the big picture and it became a reality at the best of times, as Messi and Cristiano, the gods of football, are at the end of their careers because of their age, while Mbappe is just coming,” he said.

“I hope he is the best in the world for the next 10 or 15 years. He has what it takes to be that unique player that football needs after these two monsters,” he added.

Eto’o, in a relaxed atmosphere, said that Mbappe will be the best in the world at Paris Saint-Germain, as he will go to the Princes Park this Saturday to see the duel against Nice, in the French Championship.

“Well, I hope for the moment at Paris, because I have a trip scheduled to see him play next Saturday,” he joked.

Benzema above Vini Jr.

When asked about Vinícius Júnior’s moment at Real Madrid, Samuel stressed that the young man has everything to grow, but he has not yet become the “God” of the team.

“Everyone asks me about him [Vini Jr.]. What is wrong? And Benzema? He is the leader of Madrid. Vinicius is a good player who will become very important in football, but you have to give God’s place to God. Benzema, now in Madrid, is God”, concluded the former player.
