How the Sudamericana draw will work
The draw for the round of 16 of the Sul-Americana, in addition to indicating how the ranking will go until the final, will direct which clubs will be the winners of the playoff preliminary round – disputed between the vice-leaders of Sula’s own groups against the third-placed teams in the Libertadores – will face.
Thus, those who were leaders of their groups and classified themselves directly, such as LDU-EQU (Group A), Guarani-PAR (Group B), Red Bull Bragantino (Group C), São Paulo (Group D), Newell’s Old Boys (Group E), Defense and Justice (Group F), Goias (Group G) and Fortaleza (Group H), will find out which match their opponent will come out of in the next phase.
