The NHL announced that Ivan Fedotov has a valid contract with Philadelphia
It became known about the current contract in the National Hockey League (NHL) returned from the army goalie CSKA Ivan Fedotov. It is reported by “Sport-Express”.
“We have informed the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) that Fedotov has an active binding contract with Philadelphia,” NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly said.
On July 1, Metaratings reported that the hockey player had signed a new agreement with CSKA. However, according to Match TV, until Fedotov settles his relationship with the Philadelphia Flyers, the KHL will not register his contract with the army team.
In May 2022, Fedotov signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Flyers NHL club. However, in July of the same year, he was detained in St. Petersburg on suspicion of evading military service. After that, the player was sent to serve in the Russian Navy. His contract with Philadelphia was automatically renewed for a year.
