At 39 years old, the midfielder Andres Iniesta played, this Saturday, his last game with the shirt of Vissel Kobe, from Japan. Now, the Spaniard is looking for a new club to continue his career.
Holder and captain, Iniesta was substituted 12 minutes into the second half in the 1-1 draw with Consadole Sapporo, for the Japanese Championship.
The Spaniard arrived in Japan in 2018, after leaving Barcelona. He signed with the Japanese club for three seasons and a salary of US$ 30 million a year (R$ 144 million), according to the press.

At the end of May, Iniesta announced at a press conference that he would not continue with Vissel Koke due to the lack of space in the team in recent months.
“I want to continue playing football, I feel capable of doing so. Closing this stage, we will see the options that arise. I would like to end my career playing and I want to try that. This part is being complicated here”, he said.
In Japan, Iniesta won the Emperor’s Cup in 2019 and reached the semi-finals of the Asian Champions League the following year. However, he only came in a few games last season.
