Promoter Warren Says He’s Already Ready to Arrange Fury vs. Ngannou and Jones
Frank Warren, promoter of British boxer Tyson Fury, estimated the likelihood of a fight against the champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Jon Jones and former champion Francis Ngannou. His words leads talkSPORT.
Warren said that Fury is ready for these fights. “If they want to organize them in the boxing ring, then there are no difficulties at all. It would be a huge, grand event,” the promoter said, adding that these meetings can be arranged “right now.”
Ngannou has 17 wins and 3 losses in his career. Jones in mixed martial arts won 27 victories and suffered one defeat. Another fight with his participation was declared invalid. He holds the UFC heavyweight championship belt.
Fury has 33 wins, one draw and no losses. He owns the World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight championship belt.
