Atalanta seeks to get closer to the lead in the Italian Championship

Fourth in the Italian Championship, Atalanta opens the 15th round of the tournament and seeks to get closer to the leader Napoli. In fact, coach Gian Piero Gasperini’s team is rocked by the victory, away from home, over Juventus. This Tuesday, Atalanta hosts Venezia, at 2:30 pm (Brasilia time), at the Atleti Azzurri D’Italia Stadium.

Atalanta is coming off seven unbeaten games in the Italian Championship – there are five wins and two draws. With 28 points, the team is seven behind leader Napoli. Venezia, in turn, is only 16th, with 15 points, and is coming off a home defeat by Inter Milan.

Tuesday has three more games for the Italian Championship. Fiorentina receives Sampdoria, at 2:30 pm (GMT), at the Artemio Franchi Stadium. Juventus, only in seventh place, will seek rehabilitation against the Salernitana lantern, away from home, at 4:45 pm (GMT). Hellas Verona, on the other hand, receives Cagliari, at the same time.

Leader of the Italian Championship, with 35 points, Napoli will only take the field this Wednesday, when they visit Sassuolo.
