Newcastle Seeks First Premier League Win

Newcastle’s new rich in English football, are still looking for their first victory in the Premier League. Bought by an Arab investment fund, the English club holds the lantern for the tournament. This Tuesday, at the opening of the 14th round, Newcastle welcomes Norwich, at 4:30 pm (GMT) in a direct duel in the fight against sticking, at St James Park Stadium.

Newcastle have just six Premier League points and are six behind Leeds United, the first team outside the relegation zone. Norwich’s timing is better, although it’s also in the relegation zone.

Norwich are in 19th place, with nine points. However, it comes from three unbeaten games, with two wins and one draw. Therefore, it has a chance of sinking Newcastle and rocking for good to try to get out of the relegation zone.

The other game on Tuesday involves another threatened team. Argentinian coach Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United welcomes Crystal Palace, currently 11th, at 5:15 pm (GMT), at Elland Road Stadium. Leeds are in 17th place with 12 points.

The Premier League midweek round has more interesting matches, such as Aston Villa vs Manchester City and Everton vs Liverpool this Wednesday and Manchester United vs Arsenal on Thursday.
