The eighteen best cycling teams in the world that have a WorldTeam license will be present at the starting line of the Clásica San Sebastián, which will take place on July 29 after the end of the Tour de France.

The organization of this race, which has the highest category of international cycling in one-day events, has confirmed the presence of teams such as Ineos, Jumbo-Visma, Movistar Team, Quick Step or Cofidisin the absence of defining the stars of each team that may be in the Gipuzkoan capital.

In addition to the 18 squads of the highest division, the organization has invited seven other teams who will complete the participation of this test, which are the Burgos BH, Caja Rural, Kern Pharma, Euskaltel-Euskadi, Ten Total Energies, Lotto and Israel.

The head of the organisation, Julián Eraso, in a note made public on Tuesday, predicted that “the Clásica San Sebastián will once again have the best cyclists of the international pelotonas in previous years” and he has been convinced that the fans will see “a show of the level of the latest editions”.

The Clásica San Sebastián will have a demanding tour with seven mountain passes for a total of 230.3 kilometersa layout almost identical to the one that Remco Evenepoel won in the 2019 edition, when he achieved the first of the two victories that he treasures in this Basque cycling event along with the one in 2022.
