Rabiot renews with Juventus until 2024

French midfielder Adrien Rabiot, who was at the end of his contract with Juventusdecided to renew for another season, until 2024. One year away from the Euro Cup in Germany, the player chose to continue under the command of coach Massimiliano Allegri, despite the club not being in the next Champions League.

Rabiot, who landed in Turin in 2019, ended his best season at Juventus, with 11 goals across all competitions, despite the difficult year for the team, which was eliminated in the Champions League group stage and seventh in the Italian Championship, after being punished with the loss of 10 points for accounting fraud by the board.

The 28-year-old midfielder was one of the most regular players in Allegri’s team and established himself as a regular in France’s squad at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where Les Bleus were runners-up.

Both for club and for the national team, his good performance coincided with the absence of Paul Pogba, who practically did not play in the season due to a serious knee injury.

According to the Italian press, Rabiot had a transfer offer to Manchester Unitedbut decided to stay at Juventus.
