Anthony Lara wants to join Ecuador’s BMX Freestyle team
The tournament is for Camacho his return to the elite of BMX Freestyle since he played the finals of the men’s category of the Lima 2019 Pan American Games where he obtained fourth place. After continental participation, he underwent surgery on his knee and did not continue until this year when he appeared at an event held in Quevedo.
His long period of absence meant that Ecuador did not fight for qualifying for the debuting BMX Freestyle program at the last Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Camacho will be accompanied by Lara, of whom in September 2019 he said that he will be one of the top from the country.
Lara has been training in Peru for several months, while Loor last August in North Carolina achieved an important ninth out of ten finalists in the 2021 USA BMX Freestyle Series competition. (D)
