Former AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has spoken out about a possible return to football. His words are quoted by Sport Mediaset.
“Let’s see what will happen next. It’s only been three weeks. Maybe I’ll be back on the field, who knows. Maybe in a month I’ll be in Milan’s training camp,” the striker admitted, adding that the support of the fans gives him strength.
Ibrahimovic announced his retirement on June 5. “I will be sweet all my life. It’s time to say goodbye to football, and not just to you, ”the 41-year-old athlete said after the match with Verona.
Ibrahimovic joined AC Milan in 2020. He previously played for the team from 2010 to 2012. The striker is also known for playing for Ajax, Inter, Juventus, Barcelona, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and the Swedish national team. The striker is the top scorer in the history of the national team.
