Next Friday, June 30, has been declared a compensable non-working day by the Government, in this way it will be possible to join the national holiday on Thursday 29, so that thousands of travelers enjoy a long weekend. The low cost airline Sky estimates to transport more than 40,000 passengers from Thursday 29 to Sunday 2 July, considering 18 routes, between domestic and international.
“The long holidays They are a perfect opportunity to do tourism and, from SKY, we are seeing that the demand for passengers is increasing, coinciding with the next long holiday. We project occupancy factors of up to 90%, so we are very optimistic to continue contributing to connectivity and tourism in Peru,” says Franco Chaparro, SKY Sales Manager in Peru.

- Cusco: on this long holiday, low cost estimates to transport about 8,000 passengers on 51 flights to and from the Imperial City, in which an occupancy rate of 82% is estimated. In June, this destination would also register a 10% increase in travelers compared to the month of May, thanks also to the Inti Raymi festival, for which more than 5,000 passengers are projected between June 23 and 25.
- Arequipa: the White City is not far behind, as more than 5,000 passengers are estimated on 33 flights. - Santiago and other international destinations: internationally, an estimated 4,322 travelers between Lima and the Chilean capitalto which 25 flights will be operated with an occupancy factor of more than 85%, which shows the interest of Peruvians to reach the destination of the southern country, but also that of Chilean passengers to do tourism in the country. Likewise, on scheduled flights between Lima and Miami, from June 29 to July 2, an occupancy rate of 90% is projected, a figure that would reflect the popularity of the low cost offer to fly to this international destination.
