O Sevilla announced this Monday the renewal of the contract with midfielder Nemanja Gudelj, 31, until June 30, 2026. The Serbian was champion of the Europa League along with the Spanish club at the end of May.
In a speech made this afternoon, the player thanked the opportunity to continue in Seville, where he is heading to his fifth season, and said he felt “at home” at the club.

Gudelj arrived at Sevilla in 2019/20 in negotiation with Guangzhou Evergrande, from China. In the previous season, he had played on loan at Sporting, Portugal. Previously, he played for Chinese club Tianjin Teda and Ajax, AZ Alkmaar and NAC Breda, all from Dutch football.
Since then, the midfielder has played 163 matches for the Spanish team, with four goals scored and one assist distributed β all direct participation in goals took place last season. Including, 2022/23 was when he most entered the field, totaling 53 games.
