Chelsea agree to sign Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson

After confirming the departure of important players in recent weeks, Chelsea are close to announcing a new reinforcement for next season. According to The Guardian newspaper, the Blues reached the signing of striker Nicolas Jackson, from Villarreal.

Born in Gambia, the 22-year-old represents the Senegal national team and transferred to Spanish football in 2019. This season, Nicolas Jackson scored 12 goals in The league and drew the attention of teams from the Premier League.

According to the English vehicle, Chelsea will pay 37 million euros to beat competition from Aston Villa and Everton for the signing of the striker. Nicolas Jackson underwent a medical in London on Sunday and will sign an eight-year contract.
