Footballer Glushakov said that Spartak striker Quincy Promes has a Russian mentality
Russian football player Denis Glushakov spoke about the Russian mentality of the foreign striker of the Moscow Spartak Quincy Promes, who was convicted of attacking his cousin. His words are quoted by Sport-Express.
Glushakov said that the Dutch football player should like it in Russia. “He loves a bath, cognac, ha ha! He is a normal guy. I never ran away and steamed normally, ”he said. The athlete added that he was ready to invite Promes to the bath again.
On June 19, an Amsterdam court sentenced Promes in absentia to 1.5 years in prison. The player was found guilty of involvement in an armed attack and stabbing a cousin. Currently, the player is in Moscow.
Promes returned to Spartak in February 2021. Before that, he and Glushakov played for the red-and-whites from 2014 to 2018, becoming the champions of Russia and the owners of the country’s Super Cup with the team.
