Vinícius Júnior took advantage of his vacation to star in a friendly match in the United States this Friday. The Real Madrid star was present at the second edition of the festive game promoted by former players Ronaldinho and Roberto Carlos, at Exploria Stadium, home of Orlando City, in Orlando.
The match featured several big names in Brazilian and world football, such as Cafu, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Dida, Emerson, Mascherano, Verón, Higuita, Valderrama, Lugano, Nani, Dybala, João Félix, Lucas Moura, Éder Militão, among others. In addition, of course, to captains Ronaldinho and Roberto Carlos, the teams were also composed of some digital influencers and artists.
Even in the midst of big stars, Vinícius Júnior stood out. The attacker of Brazilian Team, who played for both teams, put on a show with the ball in his foot. Vini applied pens and pedal strokes, gave beautiful passes and reached the net.
Ronaldinho’s team ended up victorious by 4-3, with goals from Jay-Jay Okocha, Cafu, Patrick Kluivert and Vinícius Júnior, who also scored a goal for Roberto Carlos’ team. Rivaldo and Lucas Moura scored the other goals for the former winger’s squad.
Despite the great celebration, the game could not reach the end. Around 15 minutes into the second half, a heavy rain fell on the stadium and the fans started to leave the stands towards the lawns, in search of photos and autographs of the stars on the field. With that, the players took cover in the locker room and the match ended with about 30 minutes less of the ball rolling.
