Dani Ceballos extends contract with Real Madrid until 2027

In order to avoid losing players for free at the end of their contract, the Real Madrid is renewing the bond of important parts in the cast. This Friday, the merengue club announced the extension of midfielder Dani Ceballos’ contract until June 2027.

In the last days, defender Nacho Fernandez e midfielder Toni Kroos also had their ties renewed with Real Madrid, but only until 2024. At the age of 26, Ceballos extended his contract for another four seasons.

Dani Ceballos arrived at the merengue club in 2017, coming from Real Betis. In addition, he had a spell on loan at Arsenalfrom England, between 2019 and 2021. Wearing the shirt of Real Madrid, the Spaniard won two Champions Leagues, a Spanish Championship, three Club World Cups, a King’s Cup, two Spanish and European Super Cups.

Altogether, Ceballos played four full seasons at Real Madrid, having entered the pitch 120 times. The midfielder never got to be the team’s absolute starter, as he fights for position with Kroos and Luka Modric. In addition to the duo, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Eduardo Camavinga, Federico Valverde and the newly signed Jude Bellingham are part of the midfield.
