The Ryazan-VDV club called the circumstances of the death of 21-year-old hockey player Savin unclear
The Ryazan-VDV club of the All-Russian Hockey League (VHL) commented on the death of hockey player Georgy Savin. The words of the specialist in work with fans of the team, Dmitry Fedorov, are quoted by RIA Novosti.
Fedorov called the circumstances of the death of the 21-year-old athlete unclear. “The reasons are still unclear, someone says that because of a quarrel, someone writes that because of problems with money. I talked with him all the time in the club, I don’t know such problems. I don’t think that a person was capable of such a thing, ”he said.
The President of the Ice Hockey Federation of the Ryazan Region, Oleg Smirnov, told Match TV that he did not understand what had delayed the player in Ryazan. “Savin played in the youth team, back in the spring he terminated the contract with Ryazan and said that he had gone back to Vityaz for a viewing contract,” he said.
Earlier on June 23, it became known about the death of Savin as a result of a fall from the 18th floor. The athlete died on the spot due to injuries incompatible with life.
Savin played for Ryazan-VDV in the VHL and the Youth Hockey League. The Ryazan club is included in the system of Vityaz from Balashikha, which plays in the Kontinental Hockey League.
