This Thursday the draw for the calendar of the League Championship in the First Division (the Second Division will take place on June 28) and it has provided the following matches for the four Basque teams on the opening day of the competition that will begin on weekend of August 11-13: Athletic-Real Madrid, Real Sociedad-Girona, Celtic-Osasuna and Cádiz-Alaves.

The 2023-24 League season will begin in its two categories on Friday, August 11; It will end on Sunday, May 26, 2024 in the case of the first category and on Sunday, June 2, 2024 in the second category. The play-offs for promotion to the First Division will take place between June 9 and 23, 2024.
There will be five windows for FIFA matches: from September 4 to 12, from 9 to 17 October and from November 13 to 21 in this 2023; and already in the year 2024, they will be March 18 to 26 and of the June 3 to 11.
For its part, the Christmas break will take place from Friday, December 22 to Monday, January 1both inclusive, resuming the competition on Tuesday, January 2.
