This Wednesday, CONMEBOL confirmed the date for the draw for the round of 16 of the Cups liberators e Sul-Americana. The definition of the confrontations of the next phase of the continental competition is on the 5th of July.
In the draw for the main continental competition, the first eight teams in the group stage will be in Pot 1, while the second placed are in Pot 2. The model is repeated in the other tournament, but the runners-up face the third-placed Libertadores in a knockout.
So far, of the Brazilians, only Athletico-PR and Palmeiras are guaranteed in the next stage of the Libertadores, with both needing to confirm the first place. Flamengo, Fluminense and Internacional depend only on themselves in the last round, while Corinthians is already eliminated.

In the Sul-Americana, Fortaleza is the only one that is in the round of 16. Botafogo, RB Bragantino, São Paulo and Goiás are in the first place of their groups and have a place in the dispute between the 16 best.
América-MG, in turn, depends on a combination of results to go to the playoff and face the third place in Libertadores. Like Timão, Santos has no chance of qualifying.
The Libertadores final is scheduled to take place at Maracanã, in Rio de Janeiro. While the big decision of the South American will be in Montevideo, Uruguay.
