Palencia Basket is an ACB team after beating Hereda San Pablo Burgos at the Coliseum 95-83 in a match in which he was always ahead on the scoreboard and thus certifies the good season he has had, finishing second in the Regular League.
Palencia will debut in the highest national basketball competition after starring in a great game.
Luka Rupnik opened the can and put San Pablo ahead up to 8-0 in favor of Palencia. Chumi Ortega shot with pride and his seven points served so that Palencia finally left with a slight advantage at rest (50-42).
Two bad attacks by Burgos together with a triple by McGrew opened the third quarter (53-42) and Burgos made bad decisions that led Palencia to a 13-point lead.
The Palencia crowd celebrated with 1:13 left, Burgos got to 8 but the game was already closed and Zunder Palencia is an ACB team.
