RB Sport: Andrey Arshavin is likely to leave Zenit on July 1
It became known about the decision of the Deputy General Director for sports development of Zenit Andrey Arshavin to leave the club. It is reported by “RB Sport”.
Arshavin has held this position since January 2022. According to the publication, he is very likely to leave the team on July 1.
Since 2020, the ex-footballer has served as director of the youth football development department. Prior to that, he worked as an adviser to the general director of youth football.
Arshavin played for the Blue-White-Blues from 1999 to 2008 and from 2012 to 2015. As part of the club, he became the champion of Russia three times, and also won the UEFA Cup and Super Cup in 2008. Arshavin also played for London’s Arsenal, Krasnodar’s Kuban and Kazakhstan’s Kairat.
