Two-time Olympic champion, two-time Stanley Cup winner Vyacheslav Fetisov compared the emotions of victories in these two tournaments. His words are quoted by Sport24.

Fetisov said that these are incomparable emotions. “The Stanley Cup is a serious marathon. This is a serious war, man. When you receive this cup, you feel like a man. Once again: the Olympic Games are the pride of the country, and the Stanley Cup is your success, the success of your team, your family, ”he compared his victories.

He emphasized that he won the first Stanley Cup at the age of 39, so this victory was especially valuable for him. He also recalled his coaching experience. “You see 22 guys jumping around like boys. It is impossible to get into such a situation either for money or through blasphemy,” he summed up.

Fetisov won the 1984 and 1988 Games. The athlete became the owner of the Stanley Cup in 1997 and 1998. At the moment he is a member of the State Duma.
