With Friday’s victories in Tijuana, the legion of Ecuadorian martial artists remains undefeated at the UWC company in Mexico.

Andrés Luna Martinetti and Aarón Cañarte remain undefeated in professional mixed martial arts (MMA) as they prevailed with authority in their respective UWC 30 match duels on Friday, November 26, in Tijuana, Mexico. In addition, Javier Basurto debuted with victory in the Ultimate Warrior Challenge Mexico (UWC) league.

The fights were a feast for the three Ecuadorians in the cage of the Entram Gym.

Andrés Luna (12-0-0), one of the prospects for UWC, Entram Gym and Team Predador, shone by submitting Paúl Márquez (7-8-0) 20 seconds before concluding the second round.

Both the one from Guayaquil and the representative from Naucalpan de Juárez, Mexico City, came up with everything in search of the important triumph in the bantamweight qualifier.

Coca Fuego Team’s Márquez landed several times with kicks, but it was Team Predador’s pupil’s skill on the canvas that made the difference at the climax of the co-star duel.

Márquez brought the South American to the canvas, but it was Luna who showed off her knowledge of jiu-jitsu since he tied a calf slicer to force performance with that painful wrench.

At 4:40 minutes of the second round he scored a dozen on his record, the sixth to come by submission, and continues to climb in MMA with his second UWC hit.

Also in the main cardAarón Cañarte (8-0-0) from Guayaquil beat Fernando Arévalo (5-9-0), from Villelas Fight Team, by unanimous decision; and the Manabi Javier Basurto (19-7-0) won by technical knockout against Christopher Ramírez (8-6-0), of Mexico City, at 1:08 minutes of the second round.

With the victories on Friday in Tijuana (Baja California), the legion of Ecuadorian martial artists remains undefeated in the UWC company since César Abad and Michael Morales premiered on April 30 on the UWC 26 billboard and the two prevailed in their respective shocks.

Cañarte made his debut on June 11 at the UWC 27 event, in a duel of the featherweight division against Alexander Barahona.

Later, the brothers Andrés and Adrián Luna Martinetti and Javier Basurto joined the Entram Gym discipline. All remain unbeatable. (D)
