Denver Nuggets beat Miami Heat to become NBA champion for the first time

In the final series, the club proved to be stronger than the Miami Heat, winning the final series with a score of 4-1. The fifth match ended with the victory of Denver – 94:89. Finals Most Valuable Player (MVP) was named center Nikola Jokic. He also became the most productive player in the finals, scoring 28 points and making 16 rebounds. Jimmy Butler scored the most points on the losing team with 21 points.
The Denver Nuggets won the championship for the first time in history. Miami is a three-time NBA champion having won the tournament in 2006, 2012 and 2013.
Last season, the Golden State Warriors won the NBA. In the final series, the team defeated the Boston Celtics.
