Defender Nacho Fernández, who this Sunday renewed with the Real Madrid for another season, commented on some rumors surrounding the merengue club and analyzed the immediate future of the team. In an interview with the show The beach barNacho commented, among other things, on Kylian Mbappé and asked for the Frenchman in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.
“Mbappé? If it were up to me, I would bring him this summer, logically,” said the Real Madrid captain. The player also spoke about the loss of Karim Benzema to Al-Ittihad and the urgency that the meringues have to find a new striker.
“Important players like Karim have left us and we need goals. Harry Kane would fit in perfectly this summer and Mbappe will come next,” said the 33-year-old defender.
Harry Kane is currently under contract to Tottenham until June 2024 while Mbappé has a link with the Paris Saint Germain until the middle of 2025.
