Chile scores three goals and wins friendly against Cuba at home

On Sunday night, Chile faced Cuba, at the Estadio Municipal de Concepción, in Concepción (CHI), in an international friendly, and won by 3-0. Marcelino Núñez (twice) and Rodrigo Echeverría scored the goals in the game.

Under the command of coach Eduardo Berizzo, the Chileans took to the field with: Fields; Mehssatou, Zaldívia, Echeverría and Mena; Núñez and Alarcon Cepeda; Altamirano, Aravena and Dávila; hefty.

The first goal of the match came in the 13th minute of the first half, when Marcelino Núñez scored after receiving a pass from Victor Dávila. At 27 minutes, the midfielder himself was responsible for assisting Rodrigo Echeverría to extend the advantage on the scoreboard.

On the way back from the break, the Chilean team needed 24 minutes to score the third goal. Juan Delgado, who had just entered, found Marcelino Núñez. The number 7 shirt was not wasted and made it 3 to 0.

Now, Chile is back on the pitch next Friday, at 9:30 pm (Brasília time), when it plays against the Dominican Republic, at the Sausalito Stadium, in Viña del Mar (CHI). In turn, Cuba will face Uruguay, on Tuesday, starting at 8:30 pm, at the Centenario Stadium, in Montevideo (URU).
