Midfielder Adrien Rabiot, injured in the calf of his right leg, will miss the French national team in the next two matches, against Gibraltar and Greece, for the Qualifiers for Euro-2024. With that, Boubacar Kamara was summoned for the vacancy.
Rabiot, of Juventus, underwent medical examinations, which detected his physical problem, said the French Football Federation (FFF) on Sunday.
Aston Villa’s 23-year-old Kamar has played three games for France. He made his debut for the two-time world champion team on June 6, 2022 against Croatia, in the League of Nations. His arrival at the Clairefontaine National Football Center (near Paris), where Les Bleus are concentrated, is scheduled for this Monday.
