The club turned out to be stronger than Rodina in the sum of two play-offs. The first game ended with a score of 3:0 in favor of Nizhny Novgorod, the second game was won by Rodina players 2:0.
Thus, Pari Nizhny Novgorod will continue to play in the elite division of the Russian Championship. In the 2022/2023 season, the team took 13th place in the standings.
The top three RPL winners at the end of the 2022/2023 season included Zenit, CSKA and Spartak. Blue-white-blue secured the championship ahead of schedule in the 26th round. CSKA footballers secured the second place thanks to the victory over Rostov in the final round.
