In an interview for the YouTube channel of NBA Brazil, the striker, who is on vacation in the United States, was asked what he thought about Messi’s team change. When responding, Neymar revealed that he already knew about the decision of the former teammate of Paris Saint Germain.
“I already knew (laughs). Messi he is one of my best friends and a gift that the ball has given me. I had the opportunity to meet him, play with him and then become his friend”, he said.
“We talked and I said that he would be very happy for the city, for life, and for the opportunity he has to live and play here in Miami. I’m sure he will change the whole MLS”, concluded Neymar.
Still during the chat in Miami, the PSG number 10 chose not to comment on the rumors surrounding his departure from the French team. He has a contract with the Paris team until 2025.
