Mac Allister will wear the number 10 shirt of the Reds, which had not been used since Sadio Mané left in 2022. Formed in the youth system of Argentinos Jrs., Mac Allister was signed by Brighton in January 2019, but remained in Argentine football on loan for another six months. He then wore the shirt of Boca Juniors before leaving for England in 2020.
