Apple TV+ promises documentary series on Messi at the 2022 World Cup

The streaming platform Apple TV+ announced this Tuesday (6) that it will include in its catalog a documentary series on the history of the star Lionel Messi in the world Cupsmainly that of 2022, in Qatar, where the Argentina won his third star.

The platform, which did not disclose the release date of the series, promises “backstage access to world superstar Lionel Messi”, scorer of seven goals and captain of the ‘Albiceleste’ in Qatar.

Produced by Smuggler Entertainment, the series covers Messi’s entire trajectory in the Argentine national team, from his first game in 2005, a friendly against Hungary in which he was sent off less than a minute after entering the field, to his consecration at the age of 35 with the world title in 2022.

After two years at Paris Saint-Germain, Messi has already agreed to leave the French club and has yet to define his future.
