Russian footballer Shamil Gasanov caught with drugs in Moscow
Russian footballer Shamil Gasanov was caught with drugs in Moscow. This is reported by the Telegram channel Shot.
According to the source, on June 6, the athlete ran across the Borovskoye highway in the wrong place, for which he was stopped by traffic police. Law enforcement officers noticed that Gasanov began to get nervous, and decided to inspect him. In the player’s pocket, a package wrapped in blue electrical tape was found, in which, according to the man, there was methadone.
According to the Mash Telegram channel, before that, the athlete went to the Meshchersky Park for a bookmark, but the seller set him up. The examination determined that the substance in the bundle was mephedrone. A criminal case was initiated against Gasanov under Article 228 (“Illegal acquisition, storage, transportation of narcotic drugs”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The player is under house arrest.
Gasanov, 29, is currently a player in Uzbekistan’s Surkhan. Previously, the footballer played for Anji, Dynamo Makhachkala, Yenisei and Baltika.
