The teams face each other for the first time in history and soon in a continental final. In addition, Fiorentina and West Ham are looking to break the queue for titles with the Conference League trophy, which is only in its second edition.

Last season, the Hammers reached the semi-finals of the Europa League, but were defeated by Eintracht Frankfurt, from Germany.
