Dynamo football player Fedor Smolov announced his wedding with blogger Karina Istomina
Dynamo Moscow striker Fedor Smolov on Instagram (the social network is banned in Russia; it belongs to the Meta corporation, which is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation) announced his wedding with a blogger and DJ Karina Istomina.
The 33-year-old footballer posted a photo of the 29-year-old bride in a white dress showing off her engagement ring. He signed the post with the words: “Karina Igorevna Smolova.” The girl also posted a picture with rings on her social networks.
In January 2020, it was reported that Smolov proposed to Maria Yumasheva, the granddaughter of the first Russian President Boris Yeltsin. The athlete was waiting for Yumasheva to come of age for marriage: at that time the girl was 17 years old. The couple separated in December 2022.
Smolov moved to Dynamo in 2022. The forward has already played for the club from 2006 to 2015, going on loan several times during this time – to Feyenoord, Ural and Anji. Smolov is known for his performances for Lokomotiv, Krasnodar, Ural and Dynamo. Also, the striker was involved in games for the Russian national team.
