Rosalkogolregulirovanie completely blocked shipments and deliveries of Mister Cider products in Russia. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
Earlier, the head of Rospotrebnadzor, Anna Popova, instructed the regional departments of the department to find and withdraw from sale the alcoholic drink “Mr. Cider”, the poisoning victims of which have already become 18 people. In addition, the departments of Rospotrebnadzor were instructed to issue orders to suspend the sale of these products.
The governor of the Ulyanovsk region, Alexei Russkikh, said earlier that 16 people died as a result of cider poisoning, and 19 more are in the hospital. In the Samara region, two people died from poisoning, three were hospitalized.
In Udmurtia, two people were poisoned by surrogate alcohol. On this fact, the local department of the RF IC initiated a case under paragraph ācā of part 2 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code. The leadership of the local Ministry of Trade and Trade recommended urgently stopping the sale of the Mister Cider drink in the republic.
The head of Mordovia, Artem Zdunov, also asked to withdraw cider from sale.
As TASS was told in the press service of the Department of Trade and Services of Moscow, “Mr. Cider” will be seized if it is found during checks of outlets for the sale of unauthorized alcohol.
As it became known, criminal cases of poisoning people in the Samara and Ulyanovsk regions will be investigated by investigators from the central office of the Investigative Committee of Russia. To date, investigators have detained a suspect – a 32-year-old individual entrepreneur from the Samara region.
